Dr. Wendy L. Hill, Head of School
Head of School at Agnes Irwin since July 2014, Dr. Hill served as the Provost and Dean of the Faculty at Lafayette College for seven years, a distinguished member of the faculty for more than 25 years, and is an expert in the field of behavioral neuroscience and animal behavior. At Lafayette, she helped lead efforts to implement a strategic plan that called for significant new academic resources and curricular initiatives.
Joanne Hoffman, Upper School Director
Joanne’s passion lies in the dynamics and growth of girls in Upper School. She assumed the role of Upper School Director in July 2013, but has a long history in independent schools, including 15 years as the Head of School at Moses Brown School in Rhode Island.
Lynne Myavec, Middle School Director
Middle School Director at Agnes Irwin since 2008, Lynne has been an independent school teacher and administrator at all levels, PreK-12 — but her enduring love is middle school. Lynne is particularly interested in the developmental changes that occur as children mature, and in supporting teachers and parents as they navigate the pivotal years of early adolescence.
Donna Lindner, Lower School Director
Donna Lindner has a long history in early childhood education, including eight years as an elementary school teacher, six years as a reading specialist, and three years as Assistant Head of Lower School at The Haverford School, before becoming Agnes Irwin’s Lower School Director in 2007. Her interests include parenting in the 21st century, the social and emotional development of young girls, and the integration of diversity, inclusivity, and social justice into school communities.
